Overview The Nordic Rental Technician provides friendly, efficient service while fitting and renting Nordic skis, boots, and snowshoes. This role ensures guests are properly equipped for their experience and maintains accuracy in daily inventory control, including scanning and tracking rental equipment. Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour West of Seattle via Interstate 90 at Snoqualmie Pass, The Summit includes four unique mountain areas, a snow tubing park, Nordic center, and 10+ food and beverage establishments. Perks also, include free season pass and resort and industry discounts. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide personalized boot fittings and properly sized skis and snowshoes for guests. Demonstrate correct use and function of bindings to ensure guest understanding and safety. Kneel, stand, and lift repeatedly while assisting guests with equipment. Perform basic maintenance and repairs on rental equipment as needed. Complete daily opening, cleaning, and closing duties as assigned. Greet all guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude and provide outstanding customer service. Qualifications What we are looking for: Must have basic computer skills. Multitasking and guest service skills Previous experience in dealing with the public and providing customer service is desired. Previous POS experience is beneficial. Must be 18 years or older. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2-year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year. All Team Members may participate in our Ally Heath benefit. It gives fast and easy access to Telemedicine and Mental Health appointments. It covers all family members and there are no copays or deductibles. It is a $4 deduction each week.
