REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ job experience
  • Knowledge of basics diabetes therapy
  • General product and therapy knowledge of Diabetes products
  • Fluent in 1-2 of the Nordic languages including English in both verbal and writing communication.
    Knowledge of diabetes product lines and therapies (AID-systems, smart pen systems, downloading systems) as well as understanding of the competitive marketplace and prior experience in training from medical technology environment will be an advantage for this position.

Responsibilities
  • In cooperation with the Nordic Education Manager you will be responsible for the planning, prioritization and execution of internal and external education programs utilizing all resources and programs available locally and centrally within Medtronic
  • Overseeing the timing, contents, and effectiveness of training sessions for internal and external customers on all Medtronic Diabetes products and therapies, and ensure they meet company and customer objectives, are of high-quality and monitored with the tools available
  • Maintaining a high level of scientific, clinical and technical expertise relevant to the job
  • During the launch of new products and therapies, ensuring internal and external customers are provided with appropriate training materials in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Development and review central education programs and local education programs together with Nordic Education Manager
  • Maintaining a strong connection to the Field Sales Force to ensure understanding, and support the Nordic teams in educational activities such as local and regional education events.
