NORM Pathways Running Program Trainer Doylestown, PA | Part Time, Hourly | $25.50 per hour   Do you love connecting with people and sharing your passion with others?  We are looking for a NORM Running Program Pathways Trainer to join our team at the Y! Ask us how we do it at the Y- it's awesome!   What is needed for this job as our NORM Pathways Running Program Trainer: * 18+ years of age * Have a nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (ACSM, NASM, ACE, or NSCA) or Group Exercise Certification * Minimum of 1+ years of experience in professional personal training and/or teaching group exercise classes * Ability to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for participants * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to provide exercise modifications and variations for different skill levels and abilities * Passion for health and wellness and an advocate for all areas of wellness  * Can be an example of motivation and engagement in supporting Health Seekers in leading a healthy lifestyle   The responsibilities we will trust you with as our NORM Pathways Running Program Trainer: * Lead classes that promote physical and mental well-being.  * Follows and executes the program curriculum as outlined by the Pathway Lead.  * Provide modifications and variations for different skill levels and abilities, demonstrate proper form, and assist participants with adjustments and modifications as needed. * Build and maintain positive relationships with participants * Maintains and reports accurate tracking of weekly group attendance  * Educate participants in all areas of River Crossing YMCA including but not limited to Y Wellness 24/7 virtual platform, InBody body composition wellness scans, ongoing wellness programs and initiatives, the membership roadmap and what is included with the Y membership, group exercise schedules, etc  * Attend both live in person and Zoom meetings and training sessions as required by the Pathway Lead Coordinator * Arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled class and be prepared to stay 10 minutes after to be adequately prepared, field questions and support relationship building and connections * Keep Wellness Center and group exercise studio spaces clean and organized * Maintain a working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members  * Maintain knowledge of emergency and safety procedures, provide care in case of an emergency, document all incidents and accidents, and communicate action immediately to the supervisor * Maintain all certifications, including but not limited to CPR/AED, Certified Personal Training Certification, and all YMCA required training clearances and certifications * Performs all other duties as assigned    What you can expect: * Support from an amazing team which includes training you on expectations * Opportunities to learn & grow at the YMCA * Being a part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community stronger * Great members to work with every day!   YMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer All Qualified Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and US Veterans Encouraged to Apply After reading this, if you’re thinking this is me-  we want to meet you!
