RETAIL SALES MANAGER

Locations: Huntsville, Scottsboro or Florence

We are seeking an experienced, professional team leader with excellent communication, and organizational skills. Our Sales Managers work closely with the Retail Store Manager to fulfill the daily operational needs of the store.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of Retail Management Experience
  • Ability to take initiative and be selfdirected
  • Strong communication and effective leadership skills
  • Very organized and detailoriented
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Experience with financing
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Furniture experience preferred, but not required
Desire to grow in management

Responsibilities
  • Functions as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Leads store training and skill development of commissioned sales people
  • Cascade new policy and procedures to relevant team members
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
  • Assists with handling issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
  • Managers are responsible for providing support and fulfilling weekly and monthly
    tasks in lieu of store vacancies, ensuring smooth operations during staffing transitions.
    Additional store duties as needed.
