Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $20-$30 DOE (Must have supervisor/lead experience) Schedule: Monday- Friday 3pm-1130 pm Overview of Role: The Warehouse Lead Associate is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse team, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. This position includes supervising warehouse associates, coordinating workflows, and maintaining a high level of organization and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a proactive attitude, and experience in warehouse operations. Monitor inventory levels, ensure accurate stock counts, and coordinate restocking needs with the inventory management team. Assist with the training and development of new warehouse associates, providing guidance and feedback on performance. Oversee the order picking, packing, and shipping process to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery. Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Coordinate and prioritize daily workloads to efficiently use warehouse space and resources. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring it remains safe, efficient, and compliant with health and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the fulfillment and shipping process. Handle customer returns and exchanges, ensuring the correct processing and documentation of returned goods. Work closely with other departments (e.g., logistics, customer service, purchasing) to ensure smooth operations across the supply chain. Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including productivity, inventory accuracy, and shipping timelines. Act as the point of contact in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor, making key decisions and handling issues that may arise. Requirements Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus). 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control, and order fulfillment procedures. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide leadership to others. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Desired Qualifications: Forklift certification or experience operating other warehouse equipment. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking software. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations specific to warehouse environments (OSHA certification preferred). Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience with team training and development. Technology Requirements: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory control software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and handheld devices.
