JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Notary Public to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing notarial acts, ensuring the integrity of the documents being notarized, and providing exceptional service to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of legal documentation and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
Please note working hours are flexible and we can accommodate all schedules for candidates.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job requirements for all applicants include:

  • Must have a VALID, IN-FORCE NOTARY PUBLIC License active for Edmonton, Alberta, and must be a member in good standing of the Law Society of Alberta.
  • Preferred availability from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
  • Fluency in English is required; Proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of contracts, agreements, declarations, and Powers of Attorney.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple clients with back-to-back appointments.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.

Responsibilities
  • Perform notarial acts including witnessing signatures, administering oaths, and certifying copies of documents.
