Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are currently recruiting a Specialist Note Taker to support students at Craven College (Skipton). The position involves attending academic sessions to produce accurate, accessible notes for disabled learners. You will be responsible for documenting lectures, seminars, and class discussions in a clear, structured manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attend scheduled sessions and take high-quality notes using a laptop or tablet
  • Submit notes within 24 hours in the student’s preferred format
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Provide clear and well-structured written materials tailored to student needs
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Support blind or visually impaired students as required
  • Engage in relevant training sessions
