Buddy’s Place is a group of licensed, independent Cannabis Retail stores proudly budding from the Kootenays of BC. We’re excited to announce the opening of our new Kimberley location in the Marysville area — and we’re looking for passionate and enthusiastic Budtenders to join our team!
Our goal is to become the Kootenay’s destination for cannabis culture and your friendly local pot shop. We’re seeking outgoing, knowledgeable, and motivated individuals who can deliver exceptional customer service while helping us build a loyal clientele base and create an outstanding customer experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 19+ years of age
• Valid Selling It Right certification
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Solid understanding of cannabis culture and a passion for the industry
• Friendly, outgoing attitude and the ability to work well within a team
• Thrive in a high-volume, high-care retail environment
• Commitment to adhering to Provincial & Federal Cannabis regulations
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Seeking long-term-oriented candidates
• Must live locally or have the ability to reliably commute

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of a wide range of cannabis products and accessories
• Assist customers in selecting suitable products and make helpful, informed recommendations
• Build lasting relationships with customers to foster loyalty
• Create and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
• Operate the POS system, iPad, and handle cash transactions accurately
• Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory updates
• Perform other duties as required to support store operations
