Description NOW HIRING – Experienced Maintenance Technician Windmill Run Apartments – Sweeny, Texas Affordable Housing Community Housing Provided as Part of Compensation Windmill Run Apartments is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Technician who can hit the ground running and take pride in delivering quality work every single day. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a hands-on professional who understands affordable housing operations, can complete make-readies efficiently, and works independently with minimal supervision. What You’ll Be Responsible For: • Preparing units for occupancy (full make-ready turns) • Completing work orders accurately and on time • HVAC troubleshooting and repairs • Plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs • Carpentry and general maintenance • Preventative maintenance on property systems • Maintaining grounds and common areas as needed • Participating in on-call emergency rotations Requirements You Must: • Have strong hands-on maintenance experience (multi-family preferred) • Be comfortable working independently • Take pride in preparing clean, move-in ready apartments • Have working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems • Maintain your own basic hand tools • Hold a valid driver’s license Schedule: Full-time, hourly position Weekend availability and on-call rotation required Compensation & Perks: • Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) • Housing provided as part of compensation package • Stable, year-round employment • Opportunity to grow within a professional property management company Windmill Run is an affordable housing community, and we are committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our residents.
