Description

Okie Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Set-Up Machinist for a manufacturing company in Chickasha, OK. This position requires hands-on experience setting up and operating Okuma CNC Lathes and/or Citizen Swiss Machines. The ideal candidate will be confident with machine set-ups, reading blueprints, making offsets, checking parts, and producing quality precision parts with minimal supervision. Location: Chickasha, OK Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shift Responsibilities Set up and operate Okuma CNC Lathes and Citizen Swiss Machines Perform machine adjustments, offsets, and tooling changes Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators Inspect parts during production to ensure quality and accuracy Troubleshoot set-up or production issues Maintain proper documentation and follow shop procedures Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Work closely with leads, supervisors, and quality team to meet production standards Previous CNC set-up experience required Experience with Okuma Lathes strongly preferred Experience with Citizen Swiss Machines strongly preferred Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerances Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately Must be able to make machine offsets and basic adjustments Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Must be dependable and able to work independently Stable work history preferred Preferred Experience CNC lathe set-up experience Swiss machine experience Okuma control experience Fanuc or similar control experience Experience machining tight-tolerance parts Oil & gas, aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing background Pay $25–$30 per hour depending on experience Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday – Friday possible Saturday Chickasha, OK Pay Rate: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience level. Full-Time Position Competitive compensation based on experience Compensation evaluated according to setup skills and ability to work independently will require a drug test and BK check
