Description Ventana Estates is looking for a sharp, experienced, and compliance-driven Assistant Community Manager who knows their way around Tax Credit (LIHTC) and market-rate operations. If you’re the type who can balance leasing, compliance, resident service, and real-world property operations without dropping the ball, we want you. What You’ll Take Charge Of • Guiding applicants through leasing for both LIHTC and market units. • Ensuring clean, accurate applications, screenings, and move-ins. • Conducting property tours and keeping occupancy strong and steady. Tax Credit Compliance • Managing income verification, eligibility, recertifications, and file audits. • Staying ahead of LIHTC requirementsaccuracy is everything. • Keeping all resident files audit-ready at all times. Resident Support & Community Presence • Addressing tenant concerns directly and professionally. • Supporting resident retention and building a positive community culture. Daily Operations & Reporting • Partnering with the Community Manager and stepping into leadership when needed. • Ensuring timely reports, proper documentation, and smooth office operations. • Working with maintenance to make sure work orders and unit turns are completed correctly. Requirements What We’re Looking For • LIHTC experience is required (market-only experience is not enough). • Strong understanding of income limits, verification, certifications, and compliance rules. • Confident communicator clear, direct, and professional. • High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities. • Experience with Yardi or similar property management software. • Team mindset and willingness to support operations however needed.
