About the Role: As the front-line representative of one of our vibrant Phoenix communities, the Tax Credit Leasing Specialist is responsible for showcasing the property, guiding prospects through the leasing process, and ensuring compliance with all LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements. This role plays a key part in resident satisfaction, community reputation, and property success. What You’ll Do: Conduct engaging property tours and highlight the community’s best features. Develop and implement creative outreach marketing strategies to attract qualified applicants. Process applications, verify eligibility, and complete all required tax credit documentation with accuracy and compliance. Build strong relationships with residents and prospects through excellent customer service and consistent follow-up. Support leasing goals and renewal efforts to maintain high occupancy. Assist with community events and marketing initiatives to promote a welcoming atmosphere. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and company policies. Requirements What We’re Looking For: Minimum 1 year of experience in leasing or property management (Tax Credit/LIHTC experience preferred). Strong marketing skills and ability to attract and engage new residents. Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills. Professional presence and a team-oriented attitude. Working knowledge of Fair Housing and LIHTC regulations a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi preferred). Bilingual preferred but not required.
