Description
As the Sr. Project Manager - Global NPDI, you will play a critical role in ensuring new hardware and services solutions are designed, validated, and launched with full global service readiness and serviceability. You will lead the integration of Global Services requirements across the full New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) lifecycle and act as the central coordination point between Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and Regional Service organizations.   This role blends engineering, service readiness, and program leadership to ensure products are deployable, supportable, scalable, and financially viable across all global regions at launch. You will drive cross-regional collaboration, perform service readiness gap analysis, and ensure consistent, scalable service delivery frameworks for hardware + services programs.   Success in this role requires strong technical acumen, deep project management discipline, and the ability to influence global stakeholders within a complex matrix organization.   Responsibilities   * Lead Global Services involvement in NPDI to ensure serviceability is engineered into product design.   * Define and validate key service readiness deliverables (procedures, strategies, tooling, spares, logistics, training).   * Influence Engineering on reliability, safety, and lifecycle support requirements.   * Align with regional teams (Americas, EMEA, APAC) to ensure consistent global deployment and launch readiness.   * Drive global scaling plans with localization and capability alignment built in.   * Lead readiness reviews, secure sign‑offs, and ensure launch criteria are met.   * Identify readiness gaps across people, process, tools, training, and infrastructure; drive mitigation plans.   * Manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and budgets for service readiness within PMO/stage‑gate processes.   * Drive cross‑functional communication and alignment across Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and regional service leaders.   * Improve and standardize service readiness frameworks, tools, workflows, and digital tracking for scalable launches   Required Qualifications   * 8+ years of experience in NPDI, Engineering, Service Readiness, or Technical Project/Program Management.   * Proven experience leading cross-functional global projects in hardware, infrastructure, or technical product environments.   * Experience influencing product design for serviceability, supportability, and lifecycle services.   * Strong stakeholder management skills across global matrix organizations.   * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.   * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira).   Preferred Qualifications   * PMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification.   * Experience in data center, critical infrastructure, industrial equipment, or technical services environments.   * Experience with service cost modeling and lifecycle service strategy.   * Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).   * Experience supporting digital service enablement initiatives.   * Additional languages a plus.   Travel Requirements   * Up to 15–20% international travel to support global readiness, regional alignment, and launch activities.
