NPI and Production Engineer Location: Yad Binyamin The Opportunity Love seeing a sketch on a screen become a high-tech reality on the production floor? We are looking for an NPI Engineer who speaks both "Development" and "Manufacturing" fluently. If you enjoy the challenge of taking complex optomechanical systems, figuring out the smartest way to build them, and leading the transition from a cool idea to a flawless product, we want to meet you. It is hands-on, fast-paced, and you will be the go-to person making things happen. Job Description Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes for mechanical, electromechanical, and optomechanical products. Take engineering ownership of assembly lines (DFX), defining product configurations and process engineering. Develop and implement assembly processes, including optimized workflows, Operating Method Sheets (OMS), and checklists. Provide ongoing engineering support to assembly lines and resolve complex technical issues. Lead ECO/ECR processes and manage Configuration Control Boards (CCB). Collaborate directly with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors on engineering requirements. Lead FAI and MRB processes while driving continuous improvement in quality, assembly time, and product reliability. Requirements Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in an NPI, Product Lead, or Production Engineering role. Expertise: Proven experience with high-precision optomechanical sub-assemblies – Significant Advantage. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly, DFM/DFA, and configuration control. Documentation: Experience in writing assembly instructions, leading First Article Inspections (FAI), and handling MRB. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively with multiple interfaces in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Soft Skills: Highly organized, responsible, capable of independent leadership, and strong engineering decision-making skills.
