Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities * To effectively participate in new products transfer. * Strong hands-on technical knowledge on process, products and test methodology as well as applications transferred. * Responsible for the process documentation (eg. Manufacturing instructions, visual aids, Bill of Material, etc.)  * To provide technical support and data analysis on product/process related issues and product/process improvements.  * Evaluates product yield, cost, performance to ensure smooth transition into production. * Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.  * Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time. Education & Experience * Bachelor or Master of Science/ Engineering. * Minimum 3 years of experience in related industry and in mass production environment. Experience working in a fiber optics manufacturing environment will be an added advantage. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc. Skills * Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving. * Exhibit a strong sense of data analytical skills with hands on working attitude.    * Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.  * Experience on New Product (NPI) qualifications and transfer is an advantage.
