We are looking for a NPI Engineer to join As an NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer , you will be the vital link between R&D and Production. You will take ownership of the transition process, ensuring that our high-precision systems, including sophisticated mechanical and fiber-optic assemblies, move from design to scalable, high-quality manufacturing.This is a "hands-on" role that requires a deep understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing technologies, as well as the ability to solve complex integration challenges on the factory floor. **The position involves on-site work in one of our sites- Gan Shomron** Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end "Transfer to Production" (TTP) process for new products and sub-assemblies. Perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews to optimize production costs, yield, and reliability. Build and maintain complex Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM) and manage engineering changes (ECO/ECR) within the PLM system. Design and oversee the fabrication of specialized assembly tools, fixtures, and jigs to streamline production. Create detailed Work Instructions (WI), routing procedures, and assembly manuals for the production team. Analyze production line failures and implement technical solutions to improve throughput and quality. Requirements B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. 10+ years of experience in NPI or Production Engineering within a high-tech/defense multidisciplinary environment. Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD) and experience working with PLM/ERP systems (e.g., Priority, Agile, or SAP). Proven experience with various manufacturing technologies (machining, plastic injection, 3D printing) and assembly of precise mechanical systems. A "Can-do" attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced, milestone-driven environment (ARO). Excellent Hebrew and English (both written and verbal) to collaborate with global vendors and internal teams. Nice to have: Experience with fiber-optic assembly or electronic integration. Knowledge of ISO standards and defense-industry quality regulations. Experience in designing production lines for "Clean Room" or ESD-sensitive environments.
