Description
Mill is a waste prevention technology company reimagining what it means to eliminate waste, starting with food. We build smart systems and infrastructure for homes, businesses, and municipalities that transform food scraps from landfill-bound waste into valuable resources, including chicken feed. Tens of thousands of Mill’s residential food recyclers are already helping households divert millions of pounds of food scraps every year, paving the way for our upcoming launch of Mill Commercial—the industry’s first end-to-end solution for managing, understanding, and preventing food waste in commercial environments (e.g. grocery, restaurants, food services). At Mill, we are passionate about building easy-to-use, beautifully designed technologies that keep food in the food system and out of landfills. The Role We are looking for a seasoned Senior NPI Program Manager with technical and operations experience to lead the end-to-end development and launch of new products for Mill. As the primary leader for managing a program, you will drive cross-functional teams through the full hardware lifecycle – from initial concept to mass production – in partnership with design and manufacturing partners. You’ll apply your seasoned experience to lead and guide internal and external teams to hit aggressive schedules, cost targets, and quality requirements. Build and maintain the program schedule with dependencies and key milestones and the program budget to ensure the program is operating within approved budget guardrails. Proactively identify bottlenecks and key risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep the program on track. Provide clear, concise updates to executive leadership regarding program health and launch readiness Qualifications 6+ years of Technical Program Management and/or Operations Program Management experience on appliances or consumer electronics products. Program Management experience working directly with manufacturers from design through mass production. Able to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support the program. BS degree desired Nice to have Experience with thermal appliances or kitchen appliances. Fluency in Mandarin. The estimated base salary range for this position is $180k to $203k, which does not include the value of benefits or a potential equity grant. A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, market conditions, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and business and organizational needs.
