Location: Near Helsinki, Finland
Salary: £1,200 - £1,500 per week
Accommodation: Separate, fully equipped accommodation provided

JOB OVERVIEW:

A warm and welcoming family based in Finland is looking for a dedicated and professional Dutch-speaking nanny to care for their two boys, aged 6 and 7. The family seeks a nurturing and experienced individual with a strong understanding of child development, particularly with experience supporting children with diverse developmental needs. The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging environment for the children while collaborating closely with mum and dad to maintain a harmonious household.
This position is full-time, requiring work five days a week (including weekends), with an emphasis on providing structure and guidance during the children’s time at home. The boys attend school and preschool from approximately 8:00 to 16:00, which allows the nanny to have some time to prepare activities or assist mum and ensure a balanced lifestyle throughout the day. The family travels during school holidays, and the nanny will accompany them to provide continuity and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience working as a nanny, ideally with a proven track record of supporting children with diverse developmental needs.
  • A nurturing, patient, and empathetic approach, with a focus on promoting the children’s overall well-being and development.
  • Native or fluent Dutch speaker to facilitate language acquisition.
  • A full, clean driving licence is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and travel with the family during school holidays.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a compassionate and knowledgeable nanny to join a family that appreciates their expertise and commitment. The role requires someone who recognises the importance of patience, flexibility, and fostering strong relationships with children and parents.

  • Assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups as required.
