Our client, a world leader in life sciences and biotechnology, is looking for a “NRD Medical Director (Remote)”. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Pay Rate: $97/hr on W2 Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K The NRD Medical Director provides strategic clinical and scientific leadership within the Neurological Rare Diseases (NRD) area, focusing on evidence generation and medical monitoring for late-phase and real-world studies. This role ensures that all studies are medically sound, ethically conducted, and scientifically meaningful—producing data that advances clinical practice, supports product value, and improves patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary medical lead on study teams, offering expert guidance on study design, safety oversight, and data interpretation. They will collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Safety, Regulatory, and Scientific Communications teams to align evidence-generation strategies with business and medical objectives. The NRD Medical Director will also represent the organization in internal and external scientific engagements, contributing to publications, congress presentations, and stakeholder communications. Qualifications: MD required with at least 6+ years of biopharma experience, including 3+ years in medical monitoring or late-phase clinical development (Phase 3–4 or observational studies). Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape and evidence-based medicine. Experience using Spotfire or similar data visualization platforms. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence in a matrix environment Proven track record of scientific excellence and ethical integrity in medical affairs.
