The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery, lifesaving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and so much more Responsibilities The NRP Instructor, under the direction of the UFHCF Division Director of Clinical Education, is responsible for teaching The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation training courses. The AHA Coordinator provides scheduling and class instruction opportunities to the NRP Instructor. The position is responsible for providing high quality instruction while demonstrating professionalism and accountability. The NRP Instructor will: Teach NRP certification classes effectively and with enthusiasm to engage students Facilitate video presentations, provide instructor didactic lectures, skills demonstrations, testing students, answering questions, remediating when appropriate, and completing post-course rosters, paperwork Physically demonstrate correct mannequin skills Submit all required documentation timely Set up, clean, and store equipment appropriately and independently Communicate effectively with AHA Coordinator, Clinical Education Director and team, fellow instructors, and UFHCF Team Members This is a PRN Day Shift position Qualifications Education Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree Licensure/Certification/Registration Florida Registered Nurse License Or Respiratory Therapist RRT or CRT credentials Or Florida Paramedic license American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required NRP Instructor certification required
