The Environmental Operator will work in a variety of indoor and outdoor working/weather conditions. This is a rotating shift position and will report directly to the Environmental Supervisor. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of hands-on work experience in industrial operations, mechanical or electrical maintenance.  Preferred Qualifications: Experience with process plant operations.   Water or Wastewater Treatment experience/certification.   Experience with operation and repair/maintenance of pumps and air/monitoring control systems.    Nucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer – M/F/Disabled/Vets – and a drug – free workplace
