We are looking for a motivated engineer with a strong passion for 3D technologies to support the development and maintenance of our prototyping laboratory. We seek a creative, problem-solving individual who takes initiative and contributes to enhancing the technological solutions available in the lab. We expect the candidate’s engagement to help expand the prototyping capabilities of our Development Center, enabling us to meet the evolving needs of our customers. This role includes overseeing and maintaining full operational readiness of the 3D technology equipment fleet in accordance with internal standards, as well as driving its development by implementing new materials, devices, and manufacturing technologies. As a member of the NTI Development Center team, the engineer will play a key role in ensuring efficient, repeatable, and high-quality prototyping in close cooperation with project teams. Your Role: Preparing prototype components to support project teams, ensuring compliance with high standards of quality and functionality. Expanding prototyping capabilities in the Development Center by introducing new materials, machines, and technologies, with a strong focus on 3D printing. Developing designs that support the prototyping process—molds, 3D models, and design modifications aimed at improving manufacturability and prototype efficiency. Collaborating with project teams to understand requirements and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of prototypes and fulfillment of project-specific needs. Applying innovative and proactive approaches to overcoming technical challenges in prototype development, while continuously improving and expanding our prototyping capabilities. Maintaining documentation related to prototyping activities, including equipment maintenance logs, material usage records, and prototype test results. Providing guidance and training to team members on the use of 3D printing equipment and prototyping processes, supporting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Identifying opportunities to enhance existing prototyping processes and equipment to increase efficiency and overall productivity. Requirements: Master’s degree in engineering—mechanical, electrical, or related field. Knowledge of 3D printing technologies. Knowledge of 3D scanning and CNC milling technologies is an advantage. Experience in prototype design and manufacturing is an additional asset. Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools commonly used in prototyping. Knowledge of engineering software such as Siemens NX or CATIA will be an asset. Good command of English, both spoken and written. High level of motivation and commitment to assigned tasks. Strong problem-solving skills. Open-minded, collaborative personality with strong communication skills. Experience in the automotive industry will be an advantage. Category B driving license.
