Job Details Division: Nucor Tubular - Louisville Location: Louisville, KY, United States Other Available Locations: N/A Basic Job Functions: Monitor process of kettle to maintain continuous operation Complete all shift reports for the day Performs hourly inspections of the tubing Provide direction and leadership to ensure accuracy of operation Oversees the set-up, adjustments and change overs for all equipment of the machine Performs preventative maintenance on the machine when necessary Assist with changeover and operate crane or forklift as needed Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: Supervisor and Manager Recommendation 2-3 years of experience in a production environment 1-2 year of leading a team in a Manufacturing/Industrial environment Preferred Qualifications: High school Diploma or GED Significant work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment Significant work and understanding of Hot Dip process Ability to work in a team environment with strong, positive communication skills Must know basic English reading, writing and math skills Nucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer – M/F/Disabled/Vets – and a drug – free workplace

Responsibilities
