Responsibilities

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Senior Nuclear Forensic Scientist: Band 5

  • Delivery Nuclear Forensics projects and capability requirements through the utilisation of knowledge, skills and experience in chemistry, radiochemistry, nuclear science and/or forensic science.
  • Perform applied research, undertake analysis, interpretation and client reporting, and propose and implement new capabilities.
  • Develop relationships and collaborations with local, national and international stakeholders to deliver capability outcomes.

Nuclear Forensic Specialist: Band 6

  • Apply project management skills to deliver Nuclear Forensics projects and capability requirements.
  • Deliver on capability improvements in collaboration with national and international scientists and stakeholders in the area of national security and nuclear forensic science.
  • Apply discipline knowledge to ensure that the processes and practices used by the Nuclear Forensics capability area consistent with relevant national and international guidelines.
