Description
Description Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures and related tasks on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Assists with departmental and hospital CQI activities. Performs other duties related to the Nuclear Medicine Department. Requirements Registered in Nuclear medicine by the AART or NMTCB or registry eligible. Graduate of approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility involves performing Nuclear Medicine procedures on patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Additionally, the role includes assisting with departmental and hospital Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and other related tasks within the Nuclear Medicine Department.
