Make a Difference The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures or therapies at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner and under the supervision of an authorized user. Nuclear Medicine Technologist may perform computed tomography exams that create the images needed for interpretation. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Exceptional communication, technical and patient care skills Aptitude toward the team philosophy Basic computer skills Knowledge of sterile technigue Two years of Nuclear Medicine clinical experience. These two years can be obtained through participation in an accredited Nuclear Medicine training program. (Preferred). CT experience preferred. License: Current license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the State of Indiana, Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry· Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Responsibilities
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures or therapies at the request of a licensed practitioner. They may also perform computed tomography exams for interpretation.
