Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: El Paso Childrens Hospital - El Paso, TX 79905 Position Type: PRN Education Level: 2 Year Degree Job Shift: Rotating Job Category: Health Care Position Summary Performs wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in Department for procedures. Assist in the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in the Radiology Department. Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements Work Experience: One (1) year experience as Hospital staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred. License/Registration/Certification Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification or registration with American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT). Basic Life Support (BLS). Education and Training: Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine school. Skills: Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes.
