The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures at the direction of the Cardiologist. The technologist must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Nuclear Medicine principles while using the departmental procedure manual. Considerable independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative is required to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures. Teamwork is critical. Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire; or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
