Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift $6,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned. Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Or Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Preferred Qualification: 2 years of Clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
