JOB SUMMARY

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials. This position involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process. The technologist collaborates with physicians to interpret results and provide high-quality patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of formal nuclear medicine training with an approved school or institution.
  • Recent post-graduate experience in performing general and cardiac Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Must be actively registered with the CMRITO.
  • Must be competent to insert IV devices and administer injections.
  • Current BLS certification.
