United Medical Imaging  About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear PET CT Technician to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Nuclear PET CT Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. Your role will be critical in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization. Minimum Qualifications: * Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology * Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) * Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiologic Technologist * Experience in performing Nuclear PET CT imaging procedures * Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulations Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology * Experience with PET CT imaging procedures * Experience with PET CT equipment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required Responsibilities: * Performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes * Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitoring their vital signs during the procedure * Ensuring the safety of patients and staff by following established radiation safety procedures * Maintaining accurate records of patient procedures and results * Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses Skills: As a Nuclear PET CT Technician, you will use your specialized skills in diagnostic imaging and radiation safety to provide high-quality patient care. You will need to have a strong understanding of nuclear medicine technology and be able to operate specialized equipment with precision.
