ASC is Australia’s submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy’s Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats’ service lives. • Develop the regulatory engagement strategy for identifying and coordinating ASC’s relationship and interactions (e.g. ARPANSA, ANNPSR, ASNO) through the multiple life cycle phases and the management of licensee transition periods.
• Deliver and manage nuclear standards framework.
• Establish license conditions and nuclear standards framework.
• Provide advice on license conditions, influence all areas of the business to ensure nuclear license considerations are managed and will support license/authorisee application
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding the continued implementation and development of Nuclear Mindset training and cultural implementation of a business wide nuclear mindset to ensure an appropriate nuclear culture is developed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, safeguards, and security throughout the project lifecycle in a complex and challenging environment that requires adaptability and tenacity to ensure regulator engagement.
  Please note: Availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK / US time zone) is required infrequently). Domestic and international travel may also be required on an infrequent ad hoc basis.
