Description Keck USC Imaging is seeking a Nuclear Technologist to join our patient-focused team! Position Status: PRN Schedule: as needed for staffing gaps, vacation coverages, call-outs, etc. Location: outpatient imaging center in Pasadena, CA JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Nuclear Technologist: Administers radioactive material to patients for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice. EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist as an ARRT-N or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a CNMT. Must maintain a current valid registration from either ARRT or CNMT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
