Equal Opportunity Employer • E-Verify Participant • Drug-Free Workplace About the Role: The purpose of this department is to complete background reports for clients, who are specifically governed by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC). This is an entry-level position. During training, employees are taught about the regulations this department follows – knowledge and understanding of NEI, NRC, and local or federal laws regarding background investigations prior to application and/or acceptance of this role is not expected. This role engages in computer-based desk work, including but not limited to: taking inbound calls from employers, schools, military facilities, and personal character references of applicants, transferring those calls to employees processing reports, and transposition of data into our system. This role plays an important part in ensuring we provide top-tier service to our clients and their applicants, all while supporting our Nuclear Department team. Seasonal employment times are approximately January - April and August - October. Typical working days: Monday – Friday, start times varying between 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM When determined by company needs, overtime and weekends may be available during peak seasons. Over time and weekends are generally assigned based on individual productivity. Starting Pay $17.50-$18.00 / hour Pay and title may be reviewed after 90 days of continuous employment, at the company’s discretion, based on performance and prior experience.
