The Field Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe client care services and programs. Job description is available upon request. Human Resources Exemption: No Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies Problem solving skills Knowledge and Abilities Demonstrates self-direction, decision making & attention to detail Makes judgements on the basis of critical thinking and problem solving criteria Proficient in referrals, assessment, counseling, and care planning Knowledge in policy and procedure development and quality assurance initiatives Possess effective communication skills with the ability to relate to individuals Ability to create a risk management plan with other health care providers Ability to implement, utilize & evaluate best practice models of client care Knowledge in health care supplies and equipment Knowledge in philosophy and principles of holistic health care Adhering to professional code of ethics, practice standards.
