Position #: 197661 Expected Start Date: March 02, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Jim Pattison Children's Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Pediatric Hemodialysis Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.54 Shift Information: Days, Weekends Hours of Work: 24 shifts of 10.1 hours per 12 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse A $38.580 to $50.070 Travel Required: No Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager(s) of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of patient care within the Pediatric Hemodialysis unit. This will include supporting and administration of hemodialysis therapy, administration of day medicine infusions, and providing clinical support of other acute care pediatric areas when needed. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Previous experience in acute care pediatric nursing is preferred Two (2) years experience in Acute Care Experience in hemodialysis or continuous renal replacement therapy is an asset Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training Care of the Patient with Kidney Disease training Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies Basic - Organizational skills Decision making skills Basic - Interpersonal skills Problem solving skills Time management skills Basic - Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to prioritize Ability to be flexible Demonstrated ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment required.
