This will include supporting and administration of hemodialysis therapy, administration of day medicine infusions, and providing clinical support of other acute care pediatric areas when needed. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Previous experience in acute care pediatric nursing is preferred Two (2) years experience in Acute Care Experience in hemodialysis or continuous renal replacement therapy is an asset Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training Care of the Patient with Kidney Disease training Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies Basic - Organizational skills Decision making skills Basic - Interpersonal skills Problem solving skills Time management skills Basic - Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to prioritize Ability to be flexible Demonstrated ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment required.
