Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Two (2) years experience in Acute Care Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS) Nursing diploma is acceptable Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) Lead 2 training Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN) Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS) Competencies Basic - Interpersonal skills Basic - Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to be flexible and willing to change Other Information Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) Unqualified candidates must be willing to take the Critical Care Nursing (CCN) training in a specified time.
