The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of the nursing department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care. Human Resources Exemption: No Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training Nursing diploma is acceptable Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies Interpersonal skills Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice Knowledge and Abilities Ability to build and maintain effective relationships/partnerships Ability to competently use computers and software applications Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Ability to be proactive and creative in decision making Ability to communicate with clients from diverse social backgrounds Other Information Leoville is located approximately 154 km northeast of North Battleford Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives Additional Comment No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
