Falkbuilt Ltd. is looking for a dedicated team player with excellent technical knowledge and experience to join the Safety Team as the on-site Registered Nurse/Advanced Care Paramedic. Falkbuilt is an exciting *Digital Component Interior Construction company headquartered in Calgary. We are a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company that needs a high energy, hardworking and motivated individual on our team.  In this role, you will provide a wide variety of medical related / nursing services to Falkers, while taking necessary steps to ensure safety and well-being. You will utilize nursing processes, and improve our safety program through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making. In addition to being available to treat injuries, you will be a contributing member of the Health and Safety team, assisting with day-to-day safety operations company wide. Requirements: · Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with Advanced First Aid certification - or- Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) license.  · Minimum 3 years of experience as an RN/ACP. Experience in a manufacturing/construction setting preferred. · Experience in technical writing is considered an asset.  · A basic understanding of the Microsoft suite of software. · Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. · Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently. · Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. · Must be able to communicate in the English language – strong written, verbal and reading skills are required. Additional languages would be an asset.  · Must own reliable transportation and be willing to travel between several locations located within SE Calgary. · Must love dogs – they are in the office regularly. Key Responsibilities: · Assess employee condition to determine the extent of injury or illness and immediate care needs. · Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the leadership team. · Collaborate with teams to develop and implement care plans. · Educate Falkers on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques. · Maintain emergency care equipment and supplies/PPE. · Assist the Safety team with first aid reporting, WCB management and various other tasks. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, ensuring you will have time to do what you love on your days off! You must be easy-going, knowledgeable, willing to learn our operation, and be part of a growing team. This job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
