JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse’s Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support and assist in delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and the ability to work in an acute care environment. The Nurse’s Aide will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort and safety while fostering a positive experience for patients and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in patient care or a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
• Proficient in computer operation, including Microsoft Outlook or similar software for documentation purposes.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a compassionate demeanor towards patients.
• Knowledge of acute care practices is a plus.
• Certification as a Nurse’s Aide or completion of relevant training programs is preferred.

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to manager.
• Provide basic patient care, including medication administration under the supervision of in charge.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
• Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with medical protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize computer systems for patient records management and scheduling as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.
