POSITION SUMMARY

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Holy Family University is seeking a qualified Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in their related field, practical experience, and a passion for engaging and inspiring students. All employees must understand the mission of Catholic higher education and be committed to the core values, mission, goals and objectives of Holy Family University.
The Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor is responsible for delivering classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction in accordance with state and federal regulations. The instructor ensures that nurse aide students are trained in the knowledge and skills required to provide quality care in long-term care and other healthcare settings.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver the state-approved nurse aide curriculum in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
  • Supervise students during clinical training in a long-term care facility.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and competencies.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare and maintain lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulatory requirements, including OBRA and Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and Department of Health (DOH) guidelines.
  • Participate in curriculum reviews, staff meetings, and professional development.
  • Report incidents, concerns, and student issues to the Program Director in a timely manner.
