Department: 6 North Daily Work Times: 630a-7p Shift: Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 48hours/days Benefits: • 403(b) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of a Nurse, contributes to the delivery of patient-centered care through: Performance of selected day-to-day patient care activities. Maintenance of an environment that is functionally and aesthetically conducive to patient well-being. Demonstrates unit/area-designated competencies. Interacts with patients considering their developmental, age-specific, and cultural spiritual preferences. Responsibilities: Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN in effort to identify/attain treatment goals. Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families. Provides physical support for patients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, feeding, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing or exercising. Ensures compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA. Maintains safe and clean working environment and protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control, hazardous waste and other policies and protocols. Performs other related job duties as requested. Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Six (6) month of job-related experience and/or training. BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent
Responsibilities
