THIS IS ACHIEVED BY THE COORDINATOR HAVING AN ONGOING AWARENESS AND INVOLVEMENT IN WORKFLOW OF THE UNIT. DUTIES INCLUDE BED MANAGEMENT, DISCHARGE PLANNING, ADVOCATING FOR THE PATIENT/FAMILY, IDENTIFYING SUPPLY AND EQUIPMENT NEEDS AND ASSISTING WITH STAFF SCHEDULING.
