The incumbent will provide visible proactive leadership in a dynamic and complex grouping for outpatient clinical services including: Procedures, Diabetic Foot Clinic, Infusion Clinic, Cast Clinic, Consultant Clinics. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience 3 years experience in clinical area within the past 5 years Operating room experience is preferred Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) Nursing diploma is acceptable Competencies Leadership skills Project management skills Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities Strong understanding of ORNAC standards Knowledge in quality improvement theory and methodologies Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access). Knowledge in patient and client centered care Ability to oversee multiple program areas with high demand for services Strong understanding of OR principles, techniques, instrumentation ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple program areas Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
