The Clinical Resource Nurse educates, mentors and supports unit staff, promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety and quality improvement on the unit. Human Resources Exemption: No Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Experience Requires a minimum of five (5) years recent nursing experience related to the clinical program area Previous leadership experience is required Licenses Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Knowledge & Abilities Understands principles of adult education Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates initiative, self-direction, and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in an integrated multidisciplinary team The ability to facilitate teamwork is essential Strong leadership skills are essential.
