Consult Liaison service is a collegial, academically minded, innovative team consisting of psychiatry and nursing serving as liaisons between medical and mental health. Clinicians advance recovery-oriented, strength-based approaches for positive outcomes in the hospital and with continuity of care when transitioning back to the community. We have team longevity with expertise recognized by multiple publications, service awards, and patient accolades.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• Attend 6 educational meetings annually.
• Provide regular staff education.
• Attend 2 unit-based in-services yearly.

PATIENT AND FAMILY EDUCATION

• Provide education on psychiatric treatment and management.
• Educate patients and families on medication and diagnoses.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field required
• MSN preferred
• Two years psychiatric nursing experience preferred
