Salary: $102,490 – $125,736 per year (pay range explained below)

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

“As Nurse Coordinator, CDC, you will – be in partnership with First Nations communities and organizations, FNHA and other government and non-government partners and stakeholders. You will plan, coordinate, and evaluate clinical public health services in assigned areas of Communicable Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) programs and initiatives for First Nations communities in the British Columbia Region. This position focuses on Community Health Nurse immunization competencies, education development and delivery.

To be successful in this role you will have/be –

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Successful completion of approved training in public health nursing or communicable disease control (CDC) training.
  • Current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Three to Five (3-5) years of experience in public health nursing or communicable disease control
