One California Job Summary and Responsibilities Day Full Time Registered Nurse Definitive Observation 2 Come join our 29 bed Definitive Observation 2 unit also known as 2Main. This unit cares for a diverse population of medical telemetry patients. This dynamic unit utilizes all of the evidence-based practices of the Nursing Bundle to maximize the patient experience. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Assessment: Performs total body and system assessment each shift/visit according to unit standards. Care of Patient: Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating. Clinical/Technical Skills: Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned unit. Documentation: Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures. Proficient and competent with the computerized documentation system. Leadership: Accepts responsibility and accountability for own decisions and behaviors. Recognizes, accepts and cooperates with direction from facility leadership. Precepting/Mentoring: Participates in orientation of new staff, ancillary personnel and mentors students in a constructive and positive manner. Serves as resource to staff from other nursing departments. Job Requirements Required: Current CA RN licensure 1 year RN experience in an acute medical surgical or telemetry unit within the last 5 years Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
