OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care service. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and promote a high-quality, person-centred approach to care.

  • Evidence of leadership and staff management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager with the overall management and leadership of the service.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing and care staff, ensuring safe and effective practice.
  • Lead by example in delivering high standards of nursing care and safeguarding service users.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and medication management.
  • Monitor clinical governance, infection control, and health & safety within the service.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Deputise for the Home Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of care and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, service development, and staff engagement initiatives.
