HOSPICE NURSE EDUCATOR Location: Dobson, NC Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking an experienced Hospice Nurse Educator to lead orientation, education, and professional development for our clinical team. This role is about more than teaching. You'll help employees build confidence from their first day through their first year of employment while supporting ongoing education, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence across the organization. HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT * Coordinate and deliver orientation for new clinical team members. * Provide hands-on education, competency validation, and ongoing clinical training. * Meet regularly with new employees throughout their first year to provide coaching, answer questions, identify learning needs, and support their successful transition into practice. * Serve as a mentor and trusted educational resource for clinical staff. * Partner with clinical leaders to identify educational opportunities and support quality improvement initiatives. * Support the Compliance team through clinical data collection and quality improvement activities. * Travel throughout Mountain Valley's service area to support homecare and inpatient teams.
